About the event
Write Off the Bat! is a writing marathon, a juried competition, and a chance to hang with your
fellow writers. Most of all, it’s two days of dedicated writing time—and we feed you! How great
is that? Note that Write Off the Bat! is about new writing that speaks to one of our two themes,
to be revealed at the start. Taghum Hall is pleased to partner with the Elephant Mountain
Literary Festival (emlfestival.com) on this exciting enterprise. There are three categories:
