About the event

Natasha Hall has appeared as soloist with the Oxford Sinfonia, City Chamber Ensemble (London UK), Battersea Ensemble (London UK), Calgary Civic Symphony, Symphony of the Kootenays, Carnegie Mellon University Baroque Ensemble and the Selkirk Youth Orchestra—and she lives among us in Nelson! Her solo violin concert will feature Bach Partita No. 2, Ysaye Sonata No. 4, Kreisler Resitativo, and Scherzo-Caprice for a beautiful musical afternoon. Light refreshments will be served.

Alongside her musical endeavors, Natasha enjoys practicing Shinrin Yoku, and is a certified Forest Therapy Guide and the founder of  Kootenay Forest Bathing. The concert will be preceded by a guided Forest Bathing Walk on Sproule Creek Trail from 10:30am - 12:30pm (by separate admission at $30); registration is required. Folks who wish to attend BOTH Forest Bathing and the concert may pay a combined price of $50.

Taghum Hall:
Building community, one event at a time

At Taghum Hall, we offer all kinds of inclusive programming aimed at bringing people together.  We also rent the Hall to private users, and that helps us keep the lights on and the doors open.  Please note that Taghum Hall rentals are independent functions and are not Taghum Hall-sponsored events.

The Taghum Community Society board acknowledges our gratitude to the ancestors and keepers of this land on whose traditional territories we are honoured to operate.
