Taghum Hall Presents: Bookmarks: Melanie Schnell

Join Regina author Melanie Schnell in launching her new mystery, The Chorus Beneath Our Feet. Melanie’s first novel won the Saskatchewan First Book Award and City of Regina Award. The Chorus Beneath Our Feet, (Radiant Press), presents a Canadian Forces soldier back from Afghanistan who finds his mute sister has not only become a street person and disappeared, but is threatened with death by others of the homeless for reasons he must discover. The book is currently shortlisted for four Saskatchewan Book Awards, including the Fiction Award and Book of the Year. Melanie's television scripts have been aired on SCN and CBC. She teaches creative writing at the University of Regina.
