Lonesome Ace

Lonesome Ace Stringband is an old-timey band with bluegrass chops, and it’s set to have toes tapping and faces grinning at Taghum Hall on Wednesday, April 26 at 7pm as part of the “Taghum Hall Presents” performance series. Band members Chris Coole (banjo), John Showman (fiddle) and Max Heineman (bass) are each journeyman musicians and veterans of some of Canada's top roots music acts including the David Francey Band and The Foggy Hogtown Boys, among others. They’ve toured internationally, been engaged at some of the largest festivals in North America and Europe, and recorded four albums.
