About the event
Come together to learn Gimjang, the cherished Korean tradition of making kimchi for the
winter — a practice honored by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. Sabine and Jinhee,
who’ve brought their roots from South Korea to Nelson, will guide you step by step in making
napa kimchi, sharing stories and techniques along the way. You’ll chop, season, and pack your
own jar, and take home 500ml of kimchi to ferment and enjoy. Spaces are limited to 8, so it’ll
be cozy, connected, and full of flavor. Let’s make more than kimchi — let’s make memories.
