About the event
Lainey Benson has been painting for over twenty years, and has been a full time artist since 2018. Her ever-evolving style focuses mainly on urban and rural landscapes. Lainey divides her time between Nelson, British Columbia and Montreal. The changes in seasons, light, landscape, and architecture provide endless delight and wonder. As an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, she has access to great Canadian teachers, and has taken on the role of teacher as well, offering classes in Nelson, BC. This unexpected path has led to a deeper understanding of her art, and such delightful fun with her students.
